WG3: Omics’ generation and analysis

Omics’ generation and analysis

Objectives

  • To organise a subgroup of Action Participants to analyse the Blastocystis genomic and metabarcoding projects that are currently deposited in GenBank
  • To generate proteomics (MALDI-TOF MS) and metabolomics (MS and NMR) data from subtypes for which cultures are available and genomic data have been analysed
  • To bring experts together to analyse these data. New data will also be deposited in the newly generated Blastocystis database in WG2.
